DAY 16 ADD UP- CYCLING INTO YOUR HOLIDAYS

The leather leaf that you have been gifted was made from scrap leather. I use to be a leather designer way way back in the day :) I had a really hard time throwing away any material that I thought could be made into something . I kept a lot of scraps knowing that they had the potential to be something beautiful.
There are amazing designers that use up-cycled things to make exciting new products. So on day 16 maybe make second hand or preloved a part of your holiday season. This could be on any spectrum. For example, use news paper or packing paper to wrap your gifts with. Get a stamp that you like and make your own paper! You can get super crafty and make a pair of mittens from a shrunken wool sweater! It is rather fun making things old look and feel new again!
Maybe crafting is not your thing. There are amazing designers that are making cool things using up-cycled materials.!! Check out the little markets in your own town, make it a point to look out for these designers.
