30/30 HIIT-A CARDIO COOL DOWN

Joanie creates a motivating and SAFE learning environment. COMBINING weights, cardio, animal flow and yoga.

30 min HIIT inspired work out using any or all of our equipment

( bikes , jump ropes, bands, kettle bells weighted balls.)

With a 30 min yoga, functional movement cool down and stillness.

Loud Music to keep you motivated.

Animal Flow is movement using *contralateral limbs, a series of poses designed by Micheal Flitch. *contralateral movement- extending their left arm and their right leg simultaneously. This involves moving appendages on opposite sides of the body.


 

THE YC CREATE

Did you ever read those choose your own adventure novels? The one’s where you get to pick the direction of the character or change the ending? This class is kinda like that!

10 people tell me what you want. . All 10 suggestions are then created into an hour class. You’ll never know what you fellow classmates are going to choose, but it always seems to work out in the end:) This is one to experience.

what to choose? You could name a part of the body you strengthen or stretch out, or you want to work on a certain pose anything goes.


 

REST AND REJUVENATE

Research studies have been indicating that meditation, stillness and a restorative yoga practice in particular, can help aid in weight loss by “re-wiring” the nervous system to decrease stress hormones. This class is so beneficial to find calm and peace in these uncertain times.

This restorative yoga class explore many types of relaxations techniques. All props are provided, just come and relax. Music, cards, crystals there are added experiences to each class.

Stress, higher level of cortisol and lack of sleep can lower our metabolism, especially as we get older. Allowing the body, breath and mind to find some peace and stillness in a comfortable beautiful space can do wonders for the nervous system, and in turn our entire body and mind. 


 

8 BEAT ON REPEAT

8 BEAT ON REPEAT is a movement meditation and memory practice.

Joanie teaches you a 5min flow with verbal and movement cues 3 times.

The next 30 min you repeat the flow with her silently guiding you. The practice ends with a 10 min meditation either sitting or laying down.


 

FIRE AND ICE


YANG/YIN STYLE CLASSBring the body back to balance in this one hour class. Great for beginners to intermediate. An amazing chill out session.
*Yang meaning "fire creating"- a dynamic sequence of poses that work with the breath to create heat in the body. Builds strength and stamina. *Yin meaning "Cool creating"- a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer, working on deep dense connective tissues and joints in the body.
